Our Work
A dated public receipt of listening, referrals, research, service, results, and work that remains unfinished.
Campaigns make a lot of promises. This page is for receipts, including what did not work and what remains open.
A referral is not a resolution. An introduction is not an outcome. Unfinished work stays visible until there is an honest reason to close it.
Public updates
Search the concerns we heard, the actions we took, and what comes next.
Every receipt will show
| Field | What it means |
|---|---|
| Date | When the action or update occurred. |
| Neighborhood or village-wide | A resident-safe location, never a private address. |
| What we heard | A short anonymous summary or aggregate theme. |
| What we did | A call, referral, meeting, research step, service project, advocacy action, or escalation. |
| Who owns the next step | The campaign, Village, county, township, state, nonprofit, resident, or a shared group. |
| Status | New, Listening, Referred, In progress, Completed, or Closed without resolution. |
| Evidence | Notes, a public record, recap, letter, photo, or official agency page when appropriate. |
| Next update | A date, or a candid explanation that no further campaign action is available. |
Status language
The concern or opportunity has been received but not yet reviewed.
The campaign is gathering more context, experiences, or facts.
The issue was routed to the person or body with authority. This is not a resolution.
A documented action is underway and another update is expected.
The stated campaign action or project is finished, with evidence when appropriate.
No further campaign action is available. The reason will be explained rather than hidden.
Trust-building feature
A leader who never changes after hearing new information is not listening. She is waiting to talk.
When resident experience, evidence, or a better argument changes Allaina's understanding or position, the update will say what changed and why.
Clear boundaries
The campaign can listen, research, organize, advocate, connect, and partner. It cannot present itself as Village Hall, direct Village staff, guarantee benefits, or promise an official outcome.
Political communication, organizing, volunteer work, voter contact, fundraising, listening, and candidate advocacy.
Campaign-sponsored or partner activities that must be clearly labeled, responsibly managed, and kept separate from fundraising.
Official service requests, records, decisions, enforcement, emergency response, and constituent services. The campaign is not Village Hall.
